With ideal sailing conditions in Miami and Biscayne Bay, the University of Miami is the perfect place for a collegiate sailing team. The team currently practices from the United States Olympic Sailing Center in Coconut Grove on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.

College Sailing has its own governing body, the ICSA (Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association), and our team is part of the South Atlantic District (SAISA) which includes some of the most competitive sailing programs in the country. Our team also travels to many interconference events each semester.

Our Fleet of Zim FJ's
In addition to our fleet of eight Zim Flying Juniors (FJ's) the team also practices in a fleet of twenty C420s, giving the program access to the two major fleets in college sailing.
Our Coaches
The coaches at the University of Miami are some of the best in the country. Our diverse talent stems from Collegiate All-Americans to a US Sailing Coach of the Year. Located in the heart of Miami, we have some of the best sailors in the world frequently joining our practice along with occasional guest coaches.
